I am working in Architecture 2010. A wall is sticking through the roof and I would like to trim it. I tried it in several ways but it will not trim. Can anybody help me in this.
Thanks,
Gunter
Are you wanting the wall to follow the underside of the roof object? or is your roof slabs? I think you can project to both in much the same way.
But if your wall top is above the roof bottom then it won't be able to do it. It effectively needs to be able to extend (project) the wall above the top into the roof so you may need to lower your wall height to be completely lower than the roof.
Then click the wall and Right click. Go to option Roof/Floor Line and modify roof line and then select your roof (works with stairs as well). Your command line will show various options and you select the A for auto project and your wall should shoot up into the roof shape where the roof is above. Any portions outside the roof remain at wall height.
Hi Ntellery,
Thanks for your suggestion. Yes the top of my wall is higher then the bottom of my (inclined, not slabs) roof and I want the wall to follow the bottom of the roof. I will try your tip tonight and well tell you how it went tomorrow.

Hi Ntellery,
With the help of your tips I was finally able to do it. Thanks. Just a pity that you cannot just simply trim the wall to the roof, like you can do with floor slabs and roof.
Best regards,
Gunter
