solid edit not working

i am much concerned that all the actions in the solid edit command won't work on my computer. i tried reading all of the similar discussions here and from other websites concerning my problem. i came across problems which are similar to mine though of different scenarios - thus i cannot use whatever workaround or solution they have. though i tried some, but still not getting any result.

the trouble comes when i am trying to move a face using the solid edit command. after executing the command, either the three of this operation errors appear:

- gap cannot be filled.

- change of topography detected.

- vertices..... (i don't know exactly the words but it goes something like that)

i even tried to do offset since move won't allow me. but still with no luck at all.

i attached a file so you can examine the problem. you may try doing solidedit on the 3d object i made.
