side views of joist members?

HI all,
I'm new to ACA2008- coming from desktop 2k4. In 2k4, using the detail manager, I was able to select a steel component (joist, beam, deck, w/e) and was prompted for either a section or a side view.
Using the detail component manager in ACA2008 does not offer me any choice- It goes direct to a section block without any option that I could find to select a side view.
Am I SOL or am I overlooking something?

Is this an OTB (out of the box) detail?

after you pick the item from the detail manager and insert it go to
properties and there you can pick section, elevation, plan views

in the Properties Palette > Select View (& pick type:Section, Elevation,
Plan), after making the selection & when prompted for Inserting the detail
component.
