edit block in place doesn't save!

After I edit a block in place, I click 'save', or type 'refclose'>'save', and after a few seconds the screen returns to the 'edit block in place' mode and doesn't save.

If I click 'discart changes' it returns to the drawing with no problems! Irestarted the program and it didn't help, so I restarted the computer, and it still doesn't work!

I use this all the time, so I don't understand what happened suddently!

BTW the block editor (not 'in place') still works fine.

Any ideas out there?? Please help! 🙂

Post a DWG file and point to the block in question for others to try.

I tried to attach the file, but it is too big - about 10MB.

I tried to purge it, but weirdly it doesn't purge anything! Even when I delete everything in model space and all layouts!

When I audited it autocad crashed..

I tried other files and they didn't have this problem!

Somehow this file got corrupt. 😞

I think I have to copy paste everything into another file, unfortunately.

But thanks, you clued me up to go and check other files as well! 🙂
