drawing scaling

I have been trying to import an AutoCad DWG into Autodesk Revit. I get a message saying that the drawing is over 20 KM and that it might not behave correctly. I try it anyway but the drawing loads as an attachment but dose not show up on the screen. When in Autodesk how can I check the scaleing to correct this problem and make it ready to import into AutodeskRevit?
