dimension architectural tick marks are not solid

I have a file that the architectural tick marks are not solid.  They are an outline of a rectangle.

fillmode =1

shademode = 2dwireframe

options/display = solid fill is checked.

I am on ACA2011.  It does not matter if I am in model or a viewport.  It is the same.

I have another file open and that dim ticks are filled.

I have imported the dim string into the one that does not work and still nothing.

any ideas?

I've seen this in plain Autocad before.  Something to try:

Make sure your UCS is set to "World".  Then type PLAN > Current.  Hopefully that helps you.

that worked in model space.

For viewports: I had to unlock each one and do the same, but it worked.

thanks

In the model space, it did changed from hollow to solid. But in the paper space, it still looks hollow and when i exported to PDF it looks hollow as well.

I don't see the word "unlocking" anywhere in this thread.  I'm glad the op got it.  How about sharing it with the rest of us.  I have this problem too.
