I'm kind of new to the whole 'lisp' thing and I was wondering if anyone can
help me out here. When I us PN and I need to revise a construct or view I
like to save the old one in case I have to revert back to it at a later
date, let's say "the client changes there mind again!!!!". Anyway, I open
the dwg., let say "FP-01" in the constucts folder and save it in the same
folder as "FP-01_Old_1-29-08" as an example. I can then revise the "FP-01"
construct and it will still show up in my views, etc. as the correct x-ref.
I found this concept seems to work for me. Is there a way this can be done
by a Lisp where I can open a dwg., run the lisp and have it add
"_Old_(current date) to the file name and save it in the same folder???
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance,
Carl
