Walls Styles and Xrefs

We wish to have a simple wall style that has a hatch, this would be in the base drawing. this base drawing will be linked into about 9 or 10 other drawings of which 8 do not required the hatch to be shown. other than freezing the layer off is there away of editing the display properties of the wall style in the xref. (the style does not appear to show in the style manager so i cannot edit it in the xrefs)

Thank you

You could setup a seperate Display for the other sheets, apply the hatch
overide for that display in the wall style, and then when you create/xref
the 'base' into the other nine or views/sheets, you would then change the
active display to the new one created.
