Wall Command Cancels

For one of my users, ACA 2008 only lets him add a wall once per session.
Any subsequent execution of the WallAdd command (whether from the tool
palette, command line, or addselected) just cancels out. No error
message or anything, just:
Command: WallAdd
Start point or [STyle/Group/WIdth/Height/OFfset/Justify/Match/Arc]: *Cancel*
Command:

I did figure out, however, that this only happens when the Properties
palette is closed. If it's open, everything works fine.

Any ideas? I'd rather not install SP1 because of the problems it
creates with the palettes crashing (something to do with AcCamera.arx).

Does this user have a docked or anchored palette? If so, this is a known
problem. Either leave the palette open or undocked. My preference is to
position the rolled-up palette just outside the drawing window. That way it
doesn't occupy very much space and will be there when needed.

Hope this helps,

Just outside the drawing window? So, don't maximize AutoCAD? It's no
big deal to just leave the properties palette turned on. There were
some other palettes anchored, but even with the properties palette
anchored all is well as long as it is on somewhere. So, since it's a
know issue, we'll see a fix for it in SP2?

Does anyone have a fix for this problem?  I am experiencing the same problem. Reinstalling and repairing doesn't resolve the issue.
