Using the divide and measure buttons

Hi! Perhaps someone could enlighten me here! When dividing, say, an arc into 4 equal parts. The point showing up on the object are so small, I can't see them! How can I change the tiny dot to a "x" or "=" or anything that I read?  I,m sure this a simple thing to do, buty I can't find it! Thanks in advance!

The command is DDPTYPE.  I don't know if or where it is on the Ribbon.     Also, take a look at the Content Browser Parametric Layout and Anchoring tools as an alternate to Divide and Measure, in particular, the Layout Curve.

Thanks so much Kathy! I actually figured it out right after I posted this.  I guess it's nessesary to erase each and every "X" if I don't want them to show on the DWG?  No faster way to do this?   Thanksagain! I wish 1/4  of what you seem to know!
