Text becomes obscured when I try to edit!!!!

Hello!

When I am trying to edit mtext and also when i the DDEDIT command to edit multi-line dimension strings, the text becomes obscured.  PLEASE help, so far nothing makes it visible again until I exit out, which is (as I am sure you can understand) making editing text extraordinarily challenging.

Obscured by what? Can you post a DWG sample?

I have this problem too. Only file re-opening resums editability of MText

Change your hardware acceleration settings in AutoCAD (off even) and turn off Win7's Aero Theme. See if that changes: a restart to clear a display issue usually means your video card is choking.
