Retaining my profile

I am using AutoCAD Architecture 2010

Everytime I open a session of AutoCAD, I must select my profile.

Is there a setting that would retain my profile as current?

How are you starting ACA?  If you start from a desktop shortcut, you can specify that your profile be set current in the Target string on the Shortcut tab of the shortcut's properties.  The /p switch preceeds the profile specification.  If you have exported your profile to an external ARG file, you can specify that file, including the path to it.  Enclose the path/file name in double quotation marks if there are spaces in the path or file name.
