Problems with tool pallettes

ACA 2008

I can eyedrop items from the content browser, but not tool pallettes. And they work. If I create a tool pallette on my rig, and populate it with individual items, all is well.

But I can't eyedrop a whole palette from the content browser, nor sync ones I did when things worked.

I did a repair, but no joy. I loaded the default OOTB profile. No joy.

Any help that works would make me want to have a smoke. Thanks in advance

I reinstalled.

I knocked NET framework back to 2.0 and then repaired. Still no joy.

HELP!
