Plot style table Location

I have set up a directory on the server for the plot style tables and configured the client computers to use it. Now I can't find the location in the options where I set that up. Where is that directory setting?
A bigger problem is that some of the sheets are going to the OOTB directory instead of the customized directory. How do I get those files to use the proper setting?

I'll take the easy one:

Options dialog, Files tab, Printer Support File Path, Plot Style Table Search Path

That's where it is in 2004 anyway, and I do not think it has changed.

Thanks David.

Upon further investigation the new sheets were created with the stb template instead of the ctb template. That is why I am seeing a filter in the plot style table pulldown. How do I change the files to use a ctb instead of an stb?

Ideally you would start with a template that used the desired plot style type.

For existing files, the CONVERTPSTYLES command can be used. Lucky for you, going from STB to CTB is an easy, one step process. Going the other way is a somewhat greater challenge (but still quite doable).

Thanks. That works great.

Why does this choice have to be made at file creation time rather than at plot time? It seems there is no way to know that this is an issue until you do it wrong. Maybe I just haven't used stb enough to know the difference.

You have to decide at file creation time as stb and ctb are totally
different.
Therefore you should start with the correct template.

I use STB files exclusively, and have erased the CTB templates so I'll
never pick them accidentally.
