Part one story and part two story view drawing issue

Imagine a high warehouse building with a two story office attached.

I have 3 constructs:

One for first floor office

One for second floor office

One for the warehouse.

The warehouse has the walls all the to the parapet which height exceeds the two story office.

The view drawing of the second floor office needs the warehouse construct as there are windows looking back into

the warehouse.

Problem is that the cut plane for the warehouse comes in where the doors are visible at the first floor.

How can I solve this.

If floor to floor of the office part is 14 feet with a cut plane at 3'-6" that would make a cut plane of 17'-6"

But the warehouse shows a visual cut plane of 3'-6" at first level.

I hope I'm understanding your question correctly-

If you're using project navigator and have set the levels of the constructs correctly, then the second floor view should automatically insert the warehouse xref at a z of -14'. If not, you can just manually adjust the z value. Also you want to make sure the objects in the warehouse construct do not have any overrides on the cut plane.
