PLine Edit using grips

Is there a way to add/remove vertices from polylines using the grips method
similar to editing hatch boundaries? I know of "Pedit" and "edit vertex"
then "add vertex" but this seems like too many steps after working with
hatch boundaries.

Thank you,
Arnel

Yes it's pathetic that it's lasted this long without being updated.
It's been on the wish lost for some time.
I'm thinking may be I've read somewhere there is updates either in 10 or to
come.
Hatching in acad10 now work like you are after (Like ACA items) so
hopefully!
If you are using ACA turn them into an aec polygon or even a space object
and turn hatch off.
you'll get lots more data.
If necessary turn back into a pline.

When the pline is selected, click on a center node and press Ctrl, it adds another point. To remove a point, place a point on top of another, they will merge into one.
