Exporting Property Set Definitions to PDF

I'm trying to create colored floor plans that will allow a user of Acrobat to read information about the colored spaces.  (I.e. Area name, area s.f., etc.)

I've read in the AutoCAD Architecture 2014 help files that it is possible to export property set definitions to DWF and PDF:

I've been successful in accomplishing this with DWF files.  But since Autodesk has discontinued support for Design Review and my company will not use an outside vendor for cloud services I need to use PDFs.

According to Adobe Acrobat help documentation it is possible to read meta data about drawing objects:

However I am unable to get Adobe Acrobat Pro XI to recognize any property data. 

Has anyone else been able to accomplish this?
