Editing Elevation Linework

Is there a way to trim, extend or break the linework of the elevations other than redrawing, merging the new lines and deleting the old ones?

Andrew,

Not really but in many cases you can save a few steps, for instance to
trim a line draw a line over the "trimmed" portion and add it to the
"erased vectors". I do agree that having more editing options would
make it much easier to work with.
