Drawings Taking Forever To Open, Please Help

Good Afternoon,

We are having issues with certain drawings taking forever to open. Some take a minute some more. I have attached a sample for review. Please any help would be greatly appreciated. A bit about our system:

Computer:

Dell Precision 380.
Intel Pentium D 3.00 GHz 2.99 GHz
2.0 GB RAM
Windows XP Pro SP3
2GB or more of Ram
NVIDIA Quadro FX 3450/5000 SDI
Autodesk Architecture 2008 SP1

Files are stored / accessed from our server via our internal network. If you need to know more info just ask.

Ok I cant attach the file because it keeps telling me its too large @ 1.64 MB. That is the fie file bound and all unecissary attachments removed. I dont know what else to do.

before you post try these things.

Prob copy to file to keep the original
use the Recover option to open the file..(under file menu).
AUDIT
purge the file to remove unwanted stuff.
any difference?

Something I've doen before is save as a copy, then to remove chunks of the
drawing then purge audit then close and open and see what happens. Doing
this enables me to find what or where in the drawing is the problem element.
