Deck/patio? Water? Solar roof? Under X plane? and more questions.

How would I put a deck on my Autocad Architecture 2008 house?
(It doesn't really have to be 3D, it can be 2D.)
Is there a hatch or any command that tells someone it's a deck/patio?

Also, by industry standards, do you have to mark what is filled with water? Such as a pool? Or just have a Straight Leader telling what it is? (A Pool in this case.)

Also, how would I say that I have a Solar roof?

Also, how would I send objects under the X plane? (Like underground.)

I also have a large fountain, would it be a good idea to tell what it is?

Is there a hatch command or something to say so people know the front of the house's ground is covered with a certain type of slate/rock? (The ones you can walk-on and forms a path.)

Thank you.

I will try to help with one of the questions. Is the deck going to be included in the construction of the house? Do you have sections and details of this deck? Are you goung to need elevations? If so, you can model it with mass elements or draw all the different views and create a multi view block. If it is not included in the construction of the house, then I wouldn't spend much time on it, just draw the basic shape and note it on the plan.

Ah ok. 🙂
I'll just make it and note it, shouldn't be a big problem.

Can you please answer the rest of my questions too?
Thanks.

Those are all questions regarding drafting standards. None of them are really AutoCAD related. As far as what is required for drafting standards, you should likely talk to the authority to which you will be submitting plans.
