Cut and move detail

I may not be remembering correctly. But I have attached a view of a wall. I remember seeing a video showing how to take a wall detail like this. Cut and move the lower portion closer. Does anyone know about this or is my memory dreaming agian.

Thanks Byron

I don't use it as I would have to set it up for local products but have you never used the Detail Componants Manager? Look under the Home Tab at the end - Details.  You can insert the bricks of your choice. Then Select a brick and right click you are have AEC modify tools in which you can edit blocks. (DCM places anon blocks.) you can use AEC modify tools for lots of things, explore the options.

I have a lisp that draws the break symbol somewhere but I don't think it works in 12.
