Cursor sticks to linework

I have a user in ACA 2009 whose cursor is literally sticking to everything in the drawing. When she moves over any linework, the cursor pauses momentarily. Is this a setting somewhere, or another issue all together?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have osnaps running? If you do, maybe she has to many picked in the
osnap settings

Yes, she does, and I thought that might have been the problem. She had every OSNAP checked, and had Object Snap Tracking ON checkmarked. I had her uncheck everything but a couple of OSNAP settings, but it's still doing it.

maybe she is in 3d wireframe mode instead of 2d wireframe mode and doesn't
know it?

in the Options menu, under the Drafting tab... there's a "Magnet" checkbox..
is this it?

She's working in 2D wireframe mode, so that's not the issue. And the Magnet option is what causes your cursor to jump to the closest OSNAP, so that isn't it either.

If I open the same drawing on my computer, I don't have this issue. So it's got to be either a setvar somewhere, or an issue with her hardware (although God forbid I even mention the possibilty of it being hardware to anyone in our IT department; they'll absolutely flip out).

Maybe the GRID option is ON.

OR could it be that under OPTIONS go to the SELECTION tab and turn off both checkboxes under "Selection Preview".

Also try turning off the SHOW TOOLTIPS checkbox under the DISPLAY tab.

I have a similar problem, but the cursor only sticks to certain blocks that have been imported from another drawing.  The cursor will not stick to the objects in the original drawing, nor will it stick to the individual items after the block is exploded in the new drawing.  But as soon as they are put into a bock the cursor sticks again.  I have also tried to do a copyclip to bring the items into the new drawing, but as soon as I block the items again the same thing happens.  What is going on?  I tried all the previous tips in this post without any luck.  I am using 2010
