We have a problem with a non-Autodesk dwg-file.
When orbiting in 3D in model space the movement of the cursor and the crosshairs are not aligned. At first it seems as if the cursor when dragged into the file window disappears but zoomed out you ca nsee it hovering somewhere below or above the imagined position of the cursor. The cursor position still controls the objects to be high-lit when hovered but on click the position of the crossair is the position where the dragging box originates. Imagined cursor position also controls the zoom direction. When dragged off file window e.g. on to menu the crosshair freezes and the mouse cursor reappears.
After fiddling around for a bit we discovered that it seems like the crosshairs are locked onto a separate z-level from the cursor. At narrow height angles in relation to the plane you really have to zoom out to spot the crosshairs but as mentioned above, from top view (90 degree angle) it seems perfectly normal.
What could be the problem?
Help much appreciated!
