Converting Dwg to Dft

My company uses Solid Edge and AutoCad is there any way to do the 2d and 3d drawlings in AutoCad and Convert them to SolidEdge using Dft? I tried going to save as and switching the dwg to dft and that didnt work I didnt see any other way to convert the files so I could work from program to program. Any help would be great.

dear

 first you open dwg .with scale 1:1  in solid edge dft. then save in dtf. you may get your result

    I have open autocad 2d drawing in solid edge..I want to convert that 2d drawing in 3d in solid edge.
