Change color or texture of roof

I have modeled a simple house. How can I change the color or even show somthing similar to shingles?

Thank you for your time.

You can apply an AEC Material Definition to your roof.  You may want to change the visual style to realistic to see the full effect.  Unless you have already loaded some Roof Slab styles that have roofing materials attached, you will want to use Style Manager to copy some from the Material Definitions (Imperial).dwg or Material Definitions (Metric).dwg source files that ship with the program.

The default locations for these files is

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ACA 2010\enu\Styles\Imperial

and

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ACA 2010\enu\Styles\Metric

but your installation may have been customized, such as to locate standard files in a network location.
