Cannot uninstall Autocad Architecture 2009

When I use the Windows Add Remove Programs to uninstall Autocad Architecture 2009, I get an error "The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it." I have loaded the installation cd into the drive and it does not help. I am installing 2011 and would like to be able to remove prior versions. I am running Windows XP SP3. Thank you for your kind assistance 🙂

Was your application installed via a disk or through a network image? If it was installed via a network image, and the server that housed that image is no longer available, you're going to have a hell of a time uninstalling. Sorry that I can't offer any specific advice on how to remedy the problem, but if you check with your IT person, maybe they can point you in the right direction.

you can run later versions with earlier versions installed (check your
licence agreeement).
You could reinstall ACA2009 if you have an image - maybe that you have
removed the uninstall file.
Then uninstall should immediately be available.

Windows Installer CleanUp Utility from Microsoft, get it, use it:

I have had this problem before as well, and gave up - decided to keep previous versions on my computer. My installation was not through a network, just a single computer. I also tried the utility Dean suggested - but received the same error message. I am hoping when I am ready to install 2011, I can clean off all the previous versions I have. I also have XP Pro SP3. Help or suggestions will be appreciated,
