3D Viewing

I recently lost the ability to view a building I was drawing when selecting the 3D cubes. The only thing that shows on the screen after selection is the revised WSC (X, Y & Z) coordinate lines and two dots. Multiple zooms on dots achieves nothing. I can select the "top" cube and return to my plan view with no problem. A couple days prior all 3D modes, shading, etc. worked fine. Configuration problem?

Does the problem only exist when using the view cube or does it happen with all 3d navication methods, orbit, preset view, steering wheel...?

All I have tried to use. I tried going into the VIEW drop-downs and got the same results...no 3D viewing. All other commands work fine. Just went from able to see & rotate my views to nothing. Are you using an out-of-the-box Display Configuraton, or a custom one?
