    Interiors!! first time success

I've finally got interior renders to work.  Had to x1000 the intensity of the pallete lights so I don't understand what's going on there but these quick renders served well to wow the client on the design.

These are rendered at the low or medium settting due to time.  Hopefully I'll get a chance to leave one going overnight on a higher setting.

Thanks Guys.  Really liking aca's ability to quickly render, adjust and render.

Unfortunately it's time to move to 12 and encounter all the new bugs that mess my system up!

Yeah Nat you should see the Revit forumn, same deal & it is not such a good render program either. All the better renders there are modelled ing Revit & rendered in Max.

Hi Dermot, hope things are going well for you over there.

Yes it's been interesting the almost complete lack of posts from Reviteers seeing how there was such bombastic trumpeting of the ease of rendering in Revit.  I would assume some are doing it but are not posting here. Max is obviously a better renderer but it's an external and extra process that the budget of my jobs don't allow. So I'll leave it to the pro renderers. Being able to quickly render a project here even though not at the top level really gives me a strong competitive advantage, most using Archicad so I am quite happy.  I am settling into 12 and it's not too bad.  Wish escape would work to stop a render though. And I hate the hassle of changing formats!

    cheers

Yeah not too bad Nathan hope you & fam are good too.

Max might not be too hard to learn /use now that you are good at ADT I think they are quite similar.

Yes I might be closer to being able but I am simply not interested in jumping on another bandwagon with more dues to pay and more interfaces to learn (each time they change it).  I just don't have the project budgets or time or inclination to dive in on something else.  The extra steps for a render in ACA are few and I can re-render at a touch anytime.  Now that I'm on 64bit with 16gb ram I don't have the memory crashes anymore and it's good enough for what I need.
