I have added a bit of glitz & glamour. My lecturer said that the signage made the shop look "cheap" so hence the glamour
It was easier to add these two with photoshop than to change the signage, at least it takes ones attention from the signage.
Cheers Dermot

oh that made me laugh!!
Does spice know that he's out with Elle?
Nice going Dermot
David shadow is rather interesting? Getting a bit ahead of himself.
Ceiling looks great. How did you do that?
BTW when reducing the size, 1024 wide is prob max width you need to post.
Maybe if you give the signage a more depth colour rather than just flat?
How about neon? mmm

David & Elles shadows are created in Photoshop so they do not relate to 3d images or should I say the 3d image that they have been pasted onto. but having said that it is not a 3d image that they were pasted onto! So I do not know how to make that work with photshop. One can rotate the shadow 360 deg around the pasted image, but if I put it on his right it does not look good & if I put it on his left he is shading Elle.
Ceiling is just ACA's standard ceiling material, but I probably have got the material setting fairly right, along with the lighting settings. I have got lights shining up from the floor to light the scene up a bit. The image is saved at that size so I just used it to attach to the post.
The sign is 100mm deep in the model but the lighting and the setting for the material are making a bit of difference to how it looks. Here is the settings for the render.
Did the ACA blog crash with your machine?
Do you want the file for this choc shop?

dood... that dood is carrying a purse.
It's a neat design, and the signage does look a little better... the
only sort of rough-looking element in there now, imho is the potted
plant in the corner. The pot looks a little jagged?

No the blog has just been updated.
I don't have a desktop but everything works.
I just cntrl-alt-del and use file open to open my shortcut folder and I'm
away.
I think I need to run recovery which I hopefully will over the weekend.
Hey I don't think that door will open! It's about to hit the wall :-)

Nathan here is another cabinet with your shelves, they have a clear material. And your cabinet.
I would like to make the shelves sloping, but I cannot think how to do it.

If you apply a profile to your shelving that is sloping, it will slope.
Exactly the same method as I've used for a gutter.
If you say have two or 3 shelves that are sloping, you can create one
profile for all of them in one hit.
Just use the add ring option and the insertion point needs to coincide with
the bottom of the componant the sweep in applied to.
As you can add the sweep to a particular componant, the rest can remain as
defined in the wall style.
Which of my cabinets did you use? It would be good to get some 3d to the
endcap. Takes some doing but you can set side back from top and kick back
from side edge to give it dept.
How did you do that signage? Looks great!
