Track # of Downloads per title in this group

I am just curious to know if there is a way to display a number next to the
heading that indicates how many times a file has been downloaded.
This would provide validation to those who post content to this site on the
usefulness of their content, even if no one posts a response.

    Thanks!

    John,

I am in the middle of redesigning my site and in a new section the contents
of CONTENT is listed in order of objects covered. Since I read your message
I can add the ability to count how many people click the link to download
this item. I will add it but only god know when i will get the pages done
while finishing off my other stuff.

Good to here from you again Rob!

Thanks for listening. I appreciate your consideration in incorporating this
    feature into your web site.

    John,

As far as I know (and someone please correct me if I am wrong .. ;-) that
technology is not readily available for the news server.
The next step in disseminating content will likely be an area on Point A for
submission/download. This would be a nice wish for such an area when it
    becomes available.

    Thanks for your input..

Another way is to ask those who download something come back with a comment or a thank you in the post. The number of threads should be an indicator and is a nice way to thank those who share their wealth. Nevine
