There is a restriction in the educational version of Autodesk Architecture 2012 to do with the Style Manager. Specifically, when you try to copy a style from one drawing to another (as described in Wyatt's "Accessing AutoCAD Architecture 2012 - tutorial 3-5) using an educational version, the command is canceled (see attached .jpg file) with the message "Educational Plot Stamp in the Source Drawing."
This prevents you from using content created in an educational version.
If you were allowed to drop content from an education version into a full commercial version you would have the problem having the plot stamp in the commercial version file.
