Migrating 2011 UK Content to 2012

I've never had to do this before, but I would like to have the excellent UK content catalogue available in Architecture 2012.

I've tried the 'Open catalogue' in the content browser and navigated to the existing catalogue using the 'existing catalogue' option. The catalogue appears in the content browser, but any I-drop tool dragged into the drawing results in a popup:

"A style or definiation could not be located for this tool. Please check the tool settings for the following causes:

    - Location drawing is not available

-Style or Definition does not existi n the current drawing"

It seems that the underlying drawings are not pathed correctly- any way of resolving this please?

    Thanks

Hi. I had a similar thing from ACA 2008 to ACA 2012. The user could open the catalog but got the error message you descibe when idropping the item onto a drawing.

I tried testing the installation with the 3D chair on here : http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=2753219&linkID=9240618

and it worked fine, so I know the software was OK.

We have a central network location for all the content, style, plot styles, templates etc etc used across the company. The new installation of ACA2012 set the location defined in Options -> AEC Content to the default on local C:\.

I changed the paths of the AEC DesignCenter Content Path, Tool Catalog Content Root Path and IFC Content Path, the locations in the AEC content area on the network drive

    Clicked OK

Tried it all again it it worked like a cham.

    Hope this helps
