I have been trying to figure this out for an about a day now. I just downloaded the AutoCAD 2013 Free Trail (Company is considering upgrading from AutoCAD MEP 2009). I have been trying to plot to PDF using the Adobe PDF plotter option which has worked perfectly on AutoCAD MEP 2009. When I plot to Adobe PDF using 2013 the Excel 2007 OLE that I copy and paste into AutoCAD becomes blurry and quality of text and lines are hard to see. I tested just plotting to printer and it came out fine. I have also tried to plot using DWG to PDF.pc3 plotter and it also does not come out clean. I have tried to find a solution by reading previous topics but have not found anything similar. Attached is a PDF that shows what is going on. Thanks.
I've been working on this for a while and have a fix that works for our business.
Just use a blank excel file with no borders at all, the font is Optimal, the large text is 20pt and the smaller text is 10pt, just use your “table” command & link the excel file (Autocad will add the lines to the file) also if you want to add a lot of text to a cell open note pad, write the text then copy it and past it into the excel area you want it (make sure you "Merge&Center the cells to the full length of your table or additional lines will be shown).
Let me know what you think. (if you have any other questions, let me know)
Sample = with out large amount of text
Sample 2 = with larg amount of text (pasted from notepad)
