I inserted a block into a very busy drawing. I can't find it now. Is there a way to locate it? I want to delete and insert a newer version, but I can't until I delete this one.

Another possibility. Do you know the name of the block? If so, you can go into the block editor (BEDIT command) and either modify this block or save as a newer updated block. When you execute BEDIT you will see a list of all the drawing's blocks....pick from this list (can just double-click on the block's name to bring you into the editor itself). Just a thought.
Here's another trick...
Enter the [undocumented] command PSELECT, and when prompted to "Select Objects", enter L for "Last" and press Enter, and the last object created will appear highlighted with its grips active
(You can also enter P for "Previous" selection which will highlight the previous selection of objects)
