Recently upgraded from AutoCAD 2012 to 2013 and ever since it has run so slowly I can hardly use it. Zooming in and out is even a problem if my cursor is resting on a line or other object. Even scrolling up and down in menu boxes is painfully slow. I never had any problems in 2012. Could this be a problem with my graphics card or some kind of driver?
I tried to enable hardware acceleration and it crashed. Upon reopening, the problem remained. Any help would be appreciated.

What settings do you have for (and have you tried)
What happens if you toggle the hardware acceleration (command _3DCONFIG ==> Manual Tune)

when AutoCAD crashes just because of activating hardware-acceleration I would look for another driver. The reason is simple: if the driver does not support some functionality in the acceleration-mode it may also have problems in default mode, but there is more handling done by AutoCAD that it does not crash. The performance goes down then.
