Hi,
>> the dimension style does not stay in the drop down list after drawing save
For me (AutoCAD 2013 German) it works like I'm used to.
My steps:
- start a new drawing
- within the ribbon I changed the default dimstyle to another one
- I saved the drawing
- I closed the drawing
- I opened the drawing
The dimension style stays at the style I set in step 2

To be more precise:
- Start AutoCAD 2013 (french version used)
- Create new DWG from metric template
- Change current dim style from the dropdown
- draw a dimension,
- click on the Save icon
- The current style diseapears from the dropdown, ilt's blank (but the current style remains current)
Bug seen by two different users on the french version.

Hi,
to be most precise: look to my screenrecording.

Yes, I see the same for the English.
The Dimension does not need to be drawn.

Same issue here (french release).
It only happens when I have more than 4 dimension styles in the current drawing. With 1-4 styles, the drop down list remains correct when saving.

Tried it with 5 dimstyles, can't reproduce it (with German release).
