I am having topograghical map of area with elevation. how section/profile along a line which cuts multiple contour can be generated.

If you rotate the UCS so as you are looking at the side elevation you can 'DVIEW', 'CLIP', 'FRONT' and drag the slider to get the right section. Then exit and do a 'FLATSHOT' of the view. That will make a passable section that you can revise if needed.

If you were to consider third party add-ons, the low cost MapWorks Sections module will let you quickly create profiles and sections directly from your AutoCAD geometry.
