when printing in view ports, wipeouts don't show. wipeouts are transparant.
ive tried copying the same wipeout lineweights and pasting it in new documents but have no problems there. i've tried resaving under a brand new document but still no luck. apparently it's only happening in the same 2 documents.
anyone have problems with this before?
I don't quite get what you mean because wipeouts are supposed to not plot. Thats sort of their thing.
The wipeout frames have the option to plot or not. Check your frame option. Also see if it is on a non plotting layer, or the old "plot paper space last" setting in the plot dialog.
AutoCAD does not always follow its draw order properly. Often I have select everything except the wipeouts then right-click and pick send to back. Then I select the wipeouts and pick bring to front.
Also if the wipeouts are in model space and any other objects are in paper space make sure "plot paper space last" is not checked in the plot dialog box.
Sometimes editing drawings that contain wipeouts can inadvertently affect the draw order. Just select the wipeout, right click, choose drawing order, and bring to front. You can alternatively choose the linework that should be hidden and then use draworder to "send to back"
If the wipeout is in a dynamic block, you may need to reset the block and then adjust to get the new definition to take.
If the wipeout is in an xref attachment, you may need to select the xattachment and choose drawing order for that object.
