AutoCAD 2013/2014 DWG Format

Has anyone a easy way to compare the system variables from 2 autocads. So I can find out what setting have changed between them. E.G. my new cad 2013 can not remember the the director that I was in last. But the auto cad 2013 just beside me does remember the last directory folder is used. And my old cad2012 can ???. And I will open the first folder, that appears in the placelist. So I have to keep moving the current folder to the top each time.

Are you referring to the behavior affected by the REMEMBERFOLDERS system variable?

I think the difference you are looking for in your example is REMEMBERFOLDERS.  I don't think that is drawing resident.

rememberfolders was already set to 1. I have changed it to 0 closed cad opened set to 1 again closed and opened and still the same problem.

You should set it to 0 and try it for a while.  I think help does a bad job of describing how that variable works.
