I can't open it, can you save down to 2010 version.
I don't understand - when I chose to save as 2010, they broke up into 2 perpendicular lines by themselves.
Using 3d, you need to know which UCS plane to use, rotate the viewcube and start drawing will cause a big mess.
Click on your 3d parts, go to properties and fix the skew.
