AutoCAD 2013/2014 DWG Format

Hello!

I'm new to AutoCAD, and I've been trying to get a bunch of different-sized boxes to get in a neat line behind each other, like they've been strung together or at least put on the same level. Align doesn't seem to be doing anything besides moving them. How am I supposed to do this?

It would help if you post a snapshot of what you have or attach your drawing.

Are they skewed?

More or less, and not on the same level. This shows up more when I rotate the view angle.

So far using Align just shifts them in the direction I indicated?

Move and snap to Endpoint, will that work?

How? I'm trying to do so now, and for some reason half the boxes are choosing to move into a new direction while the other half remains in place. They didn't do that before...

Like I said, all that's happening now is that they're lining up in two separate lines perpendicular to each other, and for some reason I can't undo that action.

They don't move to the correct direction because they were drawn in diferrent UCS.
