AutoCAD 2013/2014 DWG Format

I've just recently downloaded the 2013 student version of AutoCAD (Windows 32bit). And when I attempt to open up the ribbon (Tools > Palettes > Ribbon), I receive an error:

I've tried reinstalling the program and even downloaded the 2012 version and error still occurs...

try to repair your Framework 4.0 installation (and let Windows do then updates so servicepacks/languagepacks get installed.

In your Windows start menu goto control panel ==> software ==> select Framework 4 and you get the option for "repair/uninstall" in the upper area of the software-control-panel.
