    Read only annoyance....

Hey guys, ever since I put the 2013 suite on my computer (Inventor Professional 2013 Suite), EVERYTHING I open in CAD opens read only. I am not sure if this is just a strange coincidence that suddenly my customers are sending me drawings drawn read only, or if I have something turned on that shouldn't be. Has anyone else had this problem? Solutions?

File location is the #1 culprit (you don't have read/write access to the location for AutoCAD).

Assuming the dir is available to you (and it should be if you are working from it) navigate to the dir in Win Explorer and select the file(s), right click on the highlighted files and select properties.  Down low on the props dialogue is a selection for read-only and hidden.  Clear both checkmarks from those boxes.

I'm having this same issue, I'm trying to edit my files that I made for a class last week for this weeks homework assignment but now everything is marked as read only.
