Publish to PDF default file location prompt

    Hello,

Can anyone tell me how to change the publish settings so that it prompts asking for a location to save when I publish to PDF? Right now it's just saving to the default output location and I need it to ask every time where I want to save the file.

    Thanks

    PUBLISH command

    PUBLISH OPTIONS button

Do you have PROMPT FOR NAME option on in the NAMING category?

    What is the LOCATION setting?

Are you using pagesetups set to output to file?

I do have "Prompt for name" in the NAMING category. The LOCATION category is set to C:\Users\user.name\Documents\

"Are you using pagesetups set to output to file?" I'm not sure where to find this.

    Hi,

The pagesetups are the predefined printer settings you can set independently set for each layout.

You can access it by right click on a layout tab and choose "Page Setup Manager..."
