AutoCAD 2013/2014 DWG Format

I just came across this problem in this version of Autocad 2013. I am trying to print my company logo into a PDF from autocad 2013 and it does but when i go open the PDF file it has lines all over it nothing is solid like the dwg file. Can someone tell me if this is a issued in Autocad 2013 and how to fix it because i done this in all other versions of Autocad and it printed find to PDF and everythig was solid with no lines all over the PDF. Thanks

Not really, they are triangulated and also filled with lines, but maybe the lines have lineweights so you didn't see any white through it and so you think it's a solid.

i have always use cutepdf always here is what i am talking about. I printed things with cutepdf from inventor and its fine this is the first verison of autocad that this happens.

Hi,

please try the AutoCAD-internal "DWG to PDF.pc3" driver.

And for your PDF: use more lineweight for the objects on these filling-layers.

i just used the DWG to PDF driver and its still doing it. I never had to use more lineweights like you are talking about so i really dont understand what you mean from that. If you can explain to me what to do to better understand you with the lineweights. thanks

I guess: you have looked to the PDF with Adobe Reader? If I'm right you have just to set some options in the Adobe Reader to get the display as clean as that:

Verify the settings that I have set. If the checkboxes are set similar to this screenshot then you would not see the fine lines again (same as when you plot from 2012, just tried it):

Sorry that I can't show the screenshot in english, I only have the German version installed, but I think the positons of the options are the same. Just start Adobe Reader, in the pull-down menu "Edit" look for something called like "Presets" or "Settings". Then you should come to this dialog, on the left side select Page-View and compare the checkbpxes then.

BTW: ever tried to plot this PDF, imho you should not see this lines on the printer.

I'm really having problems with print wth 2013 both with PDF and Plot. The print progam stop in the middle of plotting or PDF. The result is a 1/2 of a immage. I seem to happen in model space. AutoCAD 2011 plots the same file just fine.
