AutoCAD 2013/2014 DWG Format

Just downloaded Autocad 2013 and am missing quite a few of the standard hatches (siding, soldier, board and batten, etc.) What should I do to get them back.  When I open old drawings with these hatches in them, they load just fine...but I am unable to hatch any new areas with these hatches (because they are not listed in the hatch library)

Those hatch names don't sound familar, they were added on.

Find your old .PAT that used before and make a path in your 2013

or extract the codes from the drawing and make new .PAT

I don't have short answer for that question.

It depends on if the patterns were appended to your ACAD.PAT or SIDING.PAT, SOLDIER.PAT by itself.

Search by Explorer to find all .PAT and open with NOTEPAD to find out.

To add a path, type in OPTIONS and add the path in Files, Support File Search Path.

had to reinstall windows before having to redownload autocad 2013 so all old .pat files are gone...how would i extract codes from drawings?

CAn you save it to 2010 version? I don't have 13.
