Is there a way to save images as a part of the dwg file?

Is there a way to save images as a part of the dwg file?

Copying and pasting images to AutoCAD requires keeping these images in their places to avoid missing them in the dwg fileClip_209.jpg

Is there a way to save these images in the file to become as a part of the file itself the same way we do in the Word and Arcgis?

    Thank you

You've asked this before Jamal I think: INSERTOBJ command and all the glorious limitations of OLE objects in AutoCAD.

Thank you Saadallah for the answer,

I tried the command that you have already provided but sounds not to do what I’m looking for.

What I simply need is to insert images to my dwg files such that these images are saved in this dwg file without the need to keep them on the hard desk or to keep their path.

What I’m supposed to try then?

    Best

    Do this:

First, open the picture with Paint Program

CTRL+A (to select the picture) then CTRL+C  (Copy)

    then
     go to Autocad

Edit, Paste Special, choose Paste Picture (Metafile)

When it's all done, list the picture, does it say OLE ?

If it is, you did it right.
