We have faced  a problem when we installed AutoCAD 2013. The same problem is occoured when we installed Navis 2013 and also Revit 2013.

    Our machine is:

    1. 64Bit XP
    2. Vista
    3. Windows 7

The error code are given below:

    Failed Installation aborted, Result=1603

    Failed    Failure is ignored, Result=1619

    Failed    Installation aborted, Result=53

We have gone through the link (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=10310469&linkID=9240617) but we can't installed. Please help us.

    Hi,

Do you have multiple workstations to install and none of them does install or some of them don't run the installation? Or what is the reason that you listed 3 different operating systems?

At least Vista is not supported for 2013 releases!

1603 is most often a problem when you have not all rights and/or some defending program is active (like antivirus).

The next message "Failure is ignored, Result=1619" is not an error, it tells you that it had a problem, but "is ignored"!

It is also important that you handle product by product. We don't know currently what error message you got for what product and what operating-system
    .

    Hi,

two steps I would try now:

    • a) copy the installation media to your local drive, don't start it from a network-share.
    • b) uninstall Framework 4 on your system, then reinstall it manually (download it e.g. from >>>here<<<, but take care of the language if yours is not english). After installing that let Windows do it's updates
    • c) try again to install AutoCAD now from the local copy of the setup

    Good luck, - alfred -

    Hi,

one more question: is that started from a network install-package? The log file is so small, I have not had it seen so small yet.

So it may be that the installation-package is not ready for WinXP64 (as this os is I think the one that is used only rarely). In that case try to install from the original AutoCAD-install media and not from the prepared network-setup.

    That's just a guess.

    Hi,

have you read that part within your log:

Your computer is using an unsupported version of the Microsoft .NET Framework. The product you are installing requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or later.

Please update .NET Framework 4.0 and restart your computer before installing your Autodesk product.2012/10/8:14:10:03	administrator	DTP123456	=== Setup ended ===

So if you have installed 4.5, then remove it.

If you have installed version 4 then I would remove it (including any updates or languagepacks that might have been installed by Windows-update.

Then install FW4 again, let Windows update then your system. I think that is the most clean sitation around Framework, so an additional start of AutoCAD-installation could be done then.

[EDIT]: and please don't install from a network source (if it's not a prepared network-setup package), copy the installation-media to your local system and start it from your C: (not from 10.0.15.8) (/EDIT]

    Good luck, - alfred -
