I get an installation error when installing 2013.
AutoCAD installs fine but it is the inventor component that hass an error.
I believe this is due to me having a newer version of Microsoft Visual C++, i require this for other software.
Does anyone have any suggestions, it wouldn't normally bother me but i get an annoying message telling me that AutoCAD hasn't been installed properly every time i start up.
The error is below:
2012/10/5:09:35:39 Geg GEG-PC Installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable ATL Security Update (x86): D:\3rdParty\x86\VCRedist\2005SP1ATL\vcredist_x86.e

Hi,
I had a similar problem some time ago when Windows-update had updated the C++XXXX redistributable to a newer version than DesignReview (as part of the AutoCAD-installation) tried to install.
The solution was to uninstall the C++xxxx redistributables (including updates if there are any) and then start the installation again.
Good luck, - alfred -

Hi,

You should just uninstall the redistributable! And when AutoCAD installed then successfully you can reinstall it again (if it's not already installed then by AutoCAD).
