Without programming, or addig XDATA? in the properties dialog you can add Hyperlinks, Notes, or Reference documents by default.
with Programming you can develop an interface to add, read, manipulate XDATA.
In particular, what 'property' do you want to add to the entities?
That's not an option AFAIK. AutoCAD does not have a simple way to add/read/manipulate arbitrary additional properties for objects, whether 2d or 3d. Oter than a block, and adding a attribute to the column.
You're getting into customization territory, and will need some custom programming to make it simple to use. And that opens up anything you want done and are willing to accomplish.
It is possible to use the Express tools to manually aded and list XDATA to entities, but it's not the most convenient way to go.... but it is one route.
Look at the Express Tools menu (pulldown or ribbon) In the Tools section are options to 'Attach XData" and "List XData". Click on them, and follow the prompts.
"Without programming how to do?"
I don't know anything about Plant3D but if it is an AutoCAD vertical, then there is likely a method of adding property sets. If so, and if you are using the AutoCAD part of that vertical product, then you can tag and schedule anything. You will know you can tag and schedule with custom properties if you see the "Extended Data Tab" on the properties palette.
You will need to get help in one of the vertical newsgroups if that is available. The processs is to set up propertydata, then propertysets, then tags and then schedules.
